Heading Out For A Day In the Snowy Wilderness

Running out of time to post photos this morning but a quick update ...
In the boy's lodge, lots of stories and chatting until very late! In the girl's lodge, students went to sleep reasonably early.
Overhead while sleepers slept, a full moon with scattered clouds racing past and the canyon walls alive with reflected light.
This morning everyone was assigned to their animal groups (Owls, Eagles, Moose and the like) with their science instructors and BC teachers. Forecast is for rain and snow showers but right now it's just bracingly chilly with broken clouds.
Everyone is well and happy, consumers of a big breakfast. They look like young mountaineers this morning with backpacks, water bottles and down jackets. Who could guess they are refugees from Brookyn?! Much more to follow but a great start.
